Mowi 1450 WD Forestry Trailer

The Mowi 1450 WD has a load capacity of 15 tonnes. It has a strong and flexible central tubular frame for easy handling and good manoeuvrability in the forest. The frame steering increases this manoeuvrability and ensures that the forestry trailer follows the tractor more closely.

The rear bunks are fixed to the rear frame, providing a robust trailer with a low weight.

As standard, the trailer is equipped with 4 bunks and 6 stakes.

The hydraulic drive motors power all four wheels and can be engaged and disengaged as necessary. When disengaged, the drive rollers are retracted from the wheels and the trailer can be transported at 40 km/h. For a tractor with a low oil flow, a separate hydraulic system is recommended to ensure functionality. The stub axles on the bogie rocker are angled for greater manoeuvrability. The length of the rear frame can be adjusted to match the length of the load to ensure a properly balanced tractor-trailer combination.

All linkages have replaceable bushings.

As standard Mowi 1450 WD is equipped with a Mowi P51 parallel crane (6.5 m/550 kg) that comes with a double slewing motor, a CR400 rotator,  FB260 grapple and a multi-lever valve. A Mowi parallel crane performs two actions at once (retraction) and has a movement pattern that enables loads to be stacked high. A Mowi crane requires a lower oil flow compared to other cranes. This enables it to be operated at low engine speeds, which saves fuel and the environment and provides a more comfortable noise level in the cab.

The trailer can also be equipped with hydraulic stakes. The advantage of hydraulic stakes is that it is possible to carry really large loads, which can then be clamped together so that you can get thru on a narrow base road.
